The site also has a research button by company so that consumers can check out the number of complaints against different insurers. Here there is a challenge, my insurance company is not listed. The idea is a good one because many times the issues facing insureds are not decipherable until there is a claim made/denied, coverage assumed/not provided or some other negative consumer experience. When you're writing your complaints, include the National Association of Insurance Commissioners.
