Obamacare… and Dems are Missing ANOTHER Opportunity

The baiting, the sniping, the carrying on--It's getting those of us who'd like to see a functional Democratic Party regain its footing pretty disgusted. Sure, the Dems are ranting and lecturing, too little too late, since the election's lost, about possible machinations to thwart Republicans, much like the wasted time and seemingly endless funds spent trying to change the votes as per the electoral college.

So where are these Obamacare worriers? Well, we know that for the past six years they've spent more time justifying, defending, spinning and selling Obamacare rather than FIXING it even in small ways, such as applauding government identification of people who were paid by the government in ERROR and never should have gotten entitlement payments under Obamacare, which, and THIS IS part of the problem, the government FORGAVE instead of got back. Or, like the pick-and-choose enforcement of the law that suspended requirements of income verification prior to payment of government entitlement funds because the government and employers were unready to live up to their obligations.

So now whether under its own shortcomings or the combined efforts of the Obama government and Congress, the Affordable Care Act is going to emerge as something new, a Ryancare equivalency that perhaps Dems should be focusing on instead of fighting the battle already lost--which is what all the anti-Trump stuff is about, after all.

The insurance companies and Paul Ryan are working to create the new abomination, I've discussed the AHIP "memo" before: See ttp://conoutofconsumer.blogspot.com/2016/12/trump-and-consumers-are-being-threatend.html, Trump and Consumers are Being Threatened by Insurance Company Demands: AHIP.

So, where are all the DEMS? Has a single one begun with the obvious? Make sure that this time around public employees are bound without loophole to the law they enact for the rest of us, something they wouldn't do under Obamacare. That will be a move to not only represent but protect us from a pretty out of control government class. How do we know? Because government doesn't vote for things that work against their public employee self-interest.
