The Gap: Government Class/Private Class

Why is there no demand that the first Obamacare fix be that the government class must live with Obamacare? It’s a persistent issue that is not addressed by politicians who want to keep THEIR government class benefits.

This is not an “impression” or a “feeling,” it’s a fact that somewhere along the line we stopped expecting the basic notion of fairness…A rule applying to everyone.

Don’t take my word for it, consider what the government says: “The government provides its employees with a first-class benefits package. In fact, studies conducted by the Bureau of Labor Statistics reveal that the gap concerning benefits between the private and public sectors has been growing-in favor of the public sector,” http://gogovernment.org/government_101/benefits.php.

Got that? THE GAP CONCERNING BENEFITS BETWEEN PRIVATE AND PUBLIC SECTORS HAS BEEN GROWIN IN FAVOR OF THE PUBLIC SECTOR.

This President’s experience has fostered a new age of government protectionism for its own that has led to an increasing GAP in favor of the government class over the rest of America.

Perhaps all the “hard-hitting” news reporters should make that simple demand: Are you ready to move the government class into Obamacare like the rest of America?” The answer could be, “No,” but that should also be the end of the discussion for reasonable people and should be the end of our votes supporting candidates discussing how they care about Americans, non-government class Americans.
