As Long as Congress Opts-Out of Obamacare off our Dime, You can't believe them

Taxpayers pay for 75 percent of the costs of "gold-level" congressional and staff health insurance plans. Republican or Democrat, this year Get the Promise from your candidate, they'll use Obamacare or they'll campaign against it. If it's not good enough for them, it's not good enough for us. Further, if they're for personal responsibility, on the Republican side, Get the Promise, they too shouldn't be sucking off the public teat for their health benefits.

The catch-up game for public employees is long overdue. Forget the manipulations by politicians promising that they believe in socialism while they use their ridiculous understanding of the concept to mimic the corruption of communist regimes with political entitlements and power illustrating how socialism is good for you, not for them.

Amidst the nonsense, look at your own city's liability and pay scales and promises to its public employees and see whether they like other cities are facing bankruptcy because of the cushy packages to public employees or whether their public employees are earning salaries and benefits that are often one-third, one-half higher than any hardworking private citizen in their region.

Broken promises and false promises and outright lies are what campaigns are about, so get a promise up-front…No more taxpayer funded superior health benefits for public employees. If they're Dems then they're in, they love Obamacare and have it. If they're Republicans they're out, and instead of milking the system for their opt-out benefits they too are on the exchanges.

Being smarter and having experienced Obama's game, this means no separate legislation giving additional raises to cover costs and this means no new laws like the Obama Administration's special opt-out waiver for Congress and congressional staff.
